Painting

Emily Mould’s art is based on fruit and vegetables. She paints from them directly or from photographs. They are abstracted forms, focusing on light and shade. They are painted on canvas using oil paint. Her favourite artists are Peter Doig, Peter Lanyon and Howard Hodgkin. She enjoys visiting the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum and the Wallace Collection. She has been in exhibitions in Brixton, Berkeley Square, Burlington Arcade, Fitzrovia, Manchester, Brussels, Westbourne Grove and Stoke Newington.
