Isabelle Zhizhi Southwood graduated from The Slade School of Fine Art, UCL and is known locally for making the Stag sculpture at Wimbledon Station.

Using a variety of media, Southwood’s practice explores what is universal and ubiquitous, yet deeply personal: the sensations of being human. The process of production is cathartic, often involving collaboration and material experimentation, allowing the work to have its own push and pull beyond the artist’s own hand.
