Lizi Beevor is an artist and printmaker living in Morden and working from her garden studio. The inspiration for her work is rooted in Britain’s native flora & fauna; the cycles & rhythms of nature; and the folklore, history, and symbolism of plants & animals. Her most recent works have focused on womanhood and the female experience, celebrating diversity and highlighting the importance of community and connection.

In Lizi’s words: “I have a real fascination with folklore and symbolism, and how humans throughout history have assigned meanings to plants & animals, and have created a whole language. In my art they are talismans, where a message is woven into the choice of plants & animals in the works I create.
