Drawing

Based in Brighton, Richard knights creates mixed-media landscapes inspired by the Sussex countryside and coastline where he grew up. Combining paint, coloured pencil and expressive drawing, the work transforms familiar places into energetic compositions of colour, line and texture. Each piece captures something of the changing light and atmosphere of the landscapes surrounding Richards home town.
