Veda Hallowes MRSS is an established bronze sculptor using fruits as a metaphor for the female form. The complex patinas and rich colours make each piece unique. Her response to the Pandemic has been a series of works dealing with relationships and how we are all affected. ’Seeds of Change’ is the latest in the series. She makes work of varying size, from small hand held pieces to large birdbaths and garden sculptures. Her ‘bronze spill pieces’ draw the viewer in to participate in the creative process, delighting in the fantastical.
